Associate Media Director

- Build client relationships to establish self as trusted advisor and agency as lead for all things media.
- Be able to be relied upon for knowledge contributing beyond media.
- Analyze, select and recommend media strategies across the big picture of an account.
- Communicate openly with GMD/MD in timely manner regarding staffing, team projects, account or media opportunities and large scope plan or budget changes.
- Lead team to understand and challenge media conventions and to go above and beyond immediate requirements to provide well thought out recommendations.
- Supervise staff with the objective of developing their professionalism and media expertise.
- Lead and supervise departmental training and growth projects.
- Work across internal teams and external agency partners by fostering a collaborative environment.
- Be responsible for employee reviews of assigned team members.
- Harness the power of a team to produce a higher quality and quantity of work.
- Have curiosity and passion to push yourself and your team to learn and to do more.
- Be accountable for implementation of departmental policies, procedures and standard practices of business decorum.
