Opportunity:
HomeAway is looking for a temporary customer service representative to join our Call Center team in our Hardy, Virginia location! Our customer support agents provide our customers a direct way to contact us via phone and email. Incoming requests are primarily focused on the creation (production) and editing of advertisements to be published on our sites.  Customer support agents interface with existing and potential customers to discuss services and rates, as well as to assist with support issues and the editing of ad copy and property photos.

Responsibilities:
• First and often only point of contact with potential and existing customers.
• Communicate services and process; assist customers with layout and writing copy and maintaining overall customer satisfaction.
• Able to communicate with customers, offering services by translating the technical into the non-technical.
• Assist customers with copy helping them avoiding vague or incomplete writing and language.
• Provide assistance with technical troubleshooting, problem-solving and issue resolution
Qualifications:
• Strong verbal and written communication are essential.
• 1-2 Years of customer service experience
• 1-2 years experience in contact centers preferred
• Ideal candidates will also have experience in web production.
• Phone experience a must for our high call volume
• Must be detail and service oriented.
• Industry pluses: classified listings websites, travel websites, online advertising, or B2C websites
• Experience with business support software applications such as MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Visio, etc.) required.
