Jobvite Moves Headquarters to Indianapolis

Indiana-based companies hired over 3,000 people utilizing the Jobvite talent acquisition suite despite pandemic challenges.

INDIANAPOLIS (March 18, 2021) – Jobvite (www.jobvite.com), the leading end-to-end talent acquisition suite provider, announces today it has relocated its corporate headquarters from San Mateo, California, to Indianapolis, Indiana. Jobvite plans to increase the size of its local workforce over the next three years to more than 300 employees.

By combining the power of AI and the human touch, Jobvite provides its customers with recruiting technology to attract, engage, hire, and retain the talent that drives success. The company is proud to serve thousands of customers across a wide range of industries including locally-based IU Health, MacAllister Machinery, Community Health Network, and Lessonly. Through its talent acquisition solutions, Jobvite facilitated over 3,000 hires in 2020 for Indiana-based companies, despite the pandemic.

“Jobvite started expanding its presence in Indianapolis in 2019 after acquiring Canvas, the world’s first text-based interviewing platform, and many of our valued customers and team members are based here. This city is a natural place for global technology companies like us to establish our home base,” said Aman Brar, CEO of Jobvite. “We are excited to grow in Indianapolis while expanding our global customer footprint. I’m very appreciative of the collaboration and support we received from the offices of Gov. Eric J. Holcomb, Mayor Joe Hogsett, Indy Chamber, TechPoint, and the Indiana Economic Development Corporation (IEDC). We believe Indy’s robust talent and tech ecosystem will be advantageous to our continued growth.”

In late 2019, Jobvite expanded its Indianapolis office space at the Guaranty Building on Monument Circle. From this headquarters, Jobvite will continue to lead a global software company with a presence in San Mateo; Kitchener and Vancouver, Canada; Bangalore, India; and many other cities across the globe.

As Jobvite plans to hire more Hoosiers over the next year, many of those roles will be in the product engineering, sales, marketing, and finance departments. Jobvite offers a comprehensive values-based benefits package and perks program to all employees.

“We’re always thrilled to see tech companies choose Indiana to grow their business and their talent,” said Interim Indiana Secretary of Commerce Jim Staton. “Our thriving tech ecosystem and strong talent pipeline make Indiana the perfect place for companies like Jobvite to thrive for years to come.”

The IEDC offered Jobvite, Inc. up to $6.8 million in conditional tax credits based on the company’s job creation plans. These tax credits are performance-based, meaning the company is eligible to claim incentives once Hoosiers are hired.
