It’s almost here! Recruiter Nation Live 2020 is next week, and we guarantee it won’t be your typical virtual conference.
As a community, we have a lot to celebrate, share, learn, and plan for after a year of challenges that brought forth inspiring innovation and industry resilience. So, join us on Thursday, December 10th from 1-6 pm to imagine a future for TA that is end-to-end, diverse, inclusive, data-driven, automated, AI-powered, frictionless, and inspirational to candidates and recruiters alike.
Everyone is zoomed-out and fatigued from this past year, but the reality is – you still have to plan for 2021. And we’re going to help you do it right. Here are 9 reasons why RNL is the one conference to add to your calendar:
1. Shark Tank anyone?
Daymond John Founder & CEO, Fubu and Investor on ABC’s Shark Tank, known as the “People’s Shark,” will join Jobvite CEO, Aman Brar, for a fireside chat about hiring the best talent and how to bring an entrepreneurial mindset to your job. You’ll then get the opportunity to ask John questions directly and see what advice he has to share in an open Q&A session immediately following his chat with Brar.
2. The most influential voices in the TA space
Our sessions are designed to escape the day-to-day and take time to focus on the future of TA and how you can help shape it. In addition to Jobvite leadership, we’re bringing in top industry experts–from William Tincup, President of RecruitingDaily to Madeline Laurano, Founder of Aptitude Research, Tim Sackett, President of HRU Technical Resources, to Hung Lee, Curator of Recruiting Brainfood. These speakers will be accompanied by talent leaders from some of the most successful TA teams in the country to guide us through the topics you want covered.
3. It won’t eat up your whole day
We know it’s hard to block out an entire day for a conference. So, we’ve scheduled RNL from 1-6 pm ET, with our CEO’s keynote (with special appearances from customers and the Jobvite team) and our Jobvite product sessions at the start followed by tailored tracks. Spend the first half of your day with your team, and then the afternoon at RNL getting key learnings specific to your role. It won’t take a full day of your time – and you can come and go as you please.
4. Tracks tailored to you
Have you ever committed to a conference session, only to realize five-minutes in that it doesn’t speak to you? What recruiters want to know is different than TA leaders and managers who are implementing plans, or executives looking at overall strategy for 2021. We’ve catered the RNL agenda so that sessions are not only divided by topic area, but also audience type. Choose from three tracks: 1. Executive, 2. TA Leader, or 3. Recruiter/User, and only listen to sessions you care about most and address the challenges of your specific job. The good news? Every track has actionable tips for you to immediately implement into your 2021 strategies.
5. Succinct breakout sessions
Your time is valuable. Just like a HIIT exercise workout, shorter sessions with less filler are easier to fit into a busy schedule. Breakout sessions will include 10 minutes from industry thought leaders and analysts, 10 minutes from your peers in talent acquisition, followed by a rapid-fire Q&A with them both! Do it for the post-workout smoothie.
6. Interactive and rewarding
No more glazed eyes. Our conference is interactive, so at the end of each session, you have the opportunity to ask speakers the questions you want answers to—and you’ll earn points for it! Our session platform is gamified, so earn enough points to be entered into Jobvite Jackpot for a chance to win prizes like a Trek Bicycle gift card, a standing desk, Master Class annual subscription, $500 CharityChoice gift card, OR, quite possibly, a Peloton bike & shoes. 🚴🏾♀️
7. Make up for the networking you’ve missed
Participate in live networking and collaboration via roundtables and board rooms. Regain some of that networking time we’ve all missed during these days of remote work, and build new relationships. There will be opportunities to network with your peers across several industries and company sizes. Or you can stop by the happy hour to hear how others in your field are maximizing their TA potential.
8. More on DE&I
Not only are learnings about diversity, equity, and inclusion peppered throughout several of the tracks, the conference closes out the day with a DE&I session that delivers a message integral to your role as a talent acquisition professional – that everyone should feel they belong, regardless of background, age, race, ethnicity, gender identity, sexual orientation, creed, location, or ability. Learn how to take steps in the right direction at your organization.
9. Did we mention it’s free?
Though we can’t be together in person, we are looking forward to hosting you wherever you may be, and imagining the future of TA together! We look forward to seeing you there!
Huge thanks go out to our sponsors for joining us for RNL ’20. Make sure to pay them a visit and learn more about our partnerships when you attend the conference.
