When looking for an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) to support its growth, AccentCare turned to Jobvite. The company needed a system that would not only help streamline its internal recruiting efforts, but would also help spread brand awareness with an easy-to-use interface.

“Our previous system was never customizable; it was a ‘one size fits all approach’ that didn’t work for us. Our initial attraction to Jobvite was for its social media and mobile recruiting capabilities, where Jobvite is a clear leader in the field,” says Steve Alexander, Director of Talent Acquisition for AccentCare. “Then we saw how Jobvite supports a great candidate experience and how easy it was for candidates to use, we were sold.”

One of the first things Alexander and his team did was to focus on creating a new career website with Jobvite Brand.

“Our original career site was bland at best. The Jobvite Brand support team worked with us to build a career site that reflects our vision,” says Alexander. “Now we have a great looking career site! There are still tweaks that we want to make along the way, but it is much more engaging than it was and boasts a compelling candidate experience. The Brand team was such a great help creating our career site—sharing best practices and ideas; the process really deepened our relationship with Jobvite.”

The AccentCare team then focused on Jobvite Engage and to help drive candidates to open positions using including ads, social media and creative campaigns, maximizing their reach across the country.

“The work we’ve been doing with campaigns has increased our career site visits by 410,000 over the last 18 months. The broadcasting of jobs is effective and creates real traction,” explains Alexander said. “Jobvite has helped us build our recruiting database and pipeline of candidates. In our old system, we had 6,600 candidates; now we have over half a million.”

We have one hiring team for all of our different organizations, with a different recruiting process for each division,” says Alexander. “Being able to have multiple different customized workflows in one system has been incredibly impactful for us. For example, you can simply check a box to choose the correct workflow. Right out the gate when you’re conducting a background check, the chosen workflow in Jobvite knows to select the right package automatically. Also, with everything documented in one place saves our recruiting team massive amounts of time.”

AccentCare also needed a recruiting platform that gave them analytics and reports that would help them continue to improve the programs efficiency and cost-effectiveness.

“Our focus for the past year is around data. We had plenty of numbers laying around, but we really needed to dig into packaging those up so that we could leverage the data into insightful reports,” says Alexander. “Now through Jobvite, and working with the Jobvite team, we’re able to create customized reports. Our reporting has gone from a mess to numbers that can really tell a story.”

“Jobvite helps us recruit for notoriously hard-to-fill roles. For example, filling physical therapist positions has been a real pain point for us. In the first eight months of 2017, we hired only 72 physical therapists. Through a concentrated effort over a two month campaign, we were able to hire 63,” elaborates Alexander. “That just goes to show the true impact it has when your team utilizes the Jobvite system to its full potential. A more robust ATS can have a real, positive business impact.”
