New, Secure Universal Login

In order to improve user experience and align with industry best practices, we’re introducing a new Universal login process for customers, job seekers and agency partners. In addition to making the Single Sign On experience seamless, the new login also enables our customers to better navigate between modules (i.e., CRM, internal mobility, etc.) and access to Jobvite Next-Gen Analytics.

Note: You (as an individual user) do not need to do anything specific to get access to the new login process – you should continue to login the same way you usually do until you receive specific instructions from your company or are automatically redirected to the new login page.

What’s changing?

For Jobvite Customer Users

Step 1:

The new login experience will start by asking for username/email.

Step 2:

Based on the email and the company configuration, the user will be redirected to id.jobvite.com to enter their password.

If your company has configured Single Sign On (such as Okta, OneLogin, Azure Active Directory), you will be redirected to the SSO portal to complete authentication.

For Job Seekers or Agency Partners

Step 1:

If you are a Job Seeker, you can choose to login using your social profile.

Step 2:

For Job Seekers and Agency Partners, the Jobvite login experience will ask for your password once you’ve entered your email address.

What’s affected?

As a part of this new experience, we will only utilize social media login capabilities for job seekers. For customer users, we will no longer support social media logins as an enterprise security best practice. This ensures customer users access Jobvite via enterprise credentials or enterprise Single Sign On and prevents access via a personal social login. Social publishing capabilities will still be available to connect post-login in the My Account area.

Please note that if you’ve been using a username/password combination to access Jobvite, the same credentials will continue to work on id.jobvite.com.

What do you need to do?

For Customers with SSO

We sent an email on June 23, 2020 to Jobvite administrators about Next Gen Analytics and how to schedule a meeting with us to help you update your Single Sign On configuration to get access. In the event you do not receive an email from Jobvite, please contact your CSM or Jobvite Support by visiting https://www.jobvite.com/support/ for assistance. Customers using SSO with Jobvite are asked to schedule this quick technical meeting to gain access before August 18, 2020. Your existing Jobvite SSO integration will stop working after this date.

For Customers without SSO

Between July 22, 2020 and August 18, 2020, your login experience will automatically be upgraded. If you are a Jobvite User or an Administrator, you can use this time to create awareness about this change in your organization and notify your IT departments about the change.

You should continue to login the same way you usually do until your company is enabled with the new login process. You will be automatically redirected to the new login page (https://id.jobvite.com) when your company has been enabled.

For Job Seekers and Agency Users

If you are a Job Seeker or an Agency User, you will not need to make any changes on your end. You will continue to login the same way that you do today.
