Jobvite Appoints Tim Lambert as Chief Revenue Officer

Veteran executive to lead sales and business development for online recruitment technology innovator

SAN FRANCISCO – September 8, 2008 – Jobvite, provider of next-generation recruitment solutions, today announced that Tim Lambert has joined the company as Chief Revenue Officer. Lambert will lead sales and business development for the fast growing Software-as-a-Service provider in the multi-billion dollar online recruitment space. The announcement comes shortly after the appointment of Adam Hyder, veteran Yahoo! and Silicon Valley engineering leader, as Jobvite’s Chief Technology Officer.

Lambert comes to Jobvite with more than 15 years of executive sales management and business development experience with high growth start-ups and public companies, where he has built and led sales organizations in web-based technology, online recruitment and advertising markets. Lambert joins Jobvite from Spot Runner, a technology-driven advertising services company, where he served as Vice President of Sales. During his tenure at Spot Runner, Lambert led sales for the National Advertising Services group, the company’s business unit focused on national advertisers and a key revenue engine for the company. He oversaw unprecedented revenue growth, building a high performing sales organization from the ground up and expanding it nationwide.

Prior to Spot Runner, Lambert served as head of Yahoo! Spot Marketing where he spearheaded Yahoo’s move into the geo-targeted online national and regional advertising market. Previously, Lambert was Vice President of Business Development at Yahoo! HotJobs, where he signed the first two newspaper reseller agreements and developed the roadmap for Yahoo’s partnership with 700 additional major newspapers from across the United States, which resulted in significant revenue and traffic growth for HotJobs and Yahoo!. Before Yahoo!, Lambert served as Vice President Sales and Local Operations at Knight Ridder Digital where he assisted in the acquisition and led the sales rollout of CareerBuilder.com for Knight Ridder, the second largest newspaper company at the time. Before that, Lambert built and led the sales operations at SBC Interactive’s Smartpages.com, since re-branded Yellowpages.com.

“Tim Lambert has proven over and over that he can build high performing sales teams, as well as secure unique opportunities to quickly grow a business with innovative partnerships and distribution channels,” said Dan Finnigan, President and Chief Executive Officer of Jobvite. “The Jobvite online recruitment application for small to medium-sized businesses leads the market in innovation, design, functionality and cost-effectiveness. Tim Lambert’s customer-focused leadership style and demonstrated ability to anticipate emerging market trends will not only help Jobvite accelerate revenue growth, but will also help even more companies capitalize on the value of our technology for their businesses.”

“The online recruitment environment is changing rapidly, offering employers new ways to target and engage talent and Jobvite has proven itself as a leader in this fast-growing market with its social recruitment technology,” said Tim Lambert, Chief Revenue Officer of Jobvite. “The elegant integration of social networking into the hiring process makes Jobvite the recruiting application of choice for market-leading companies.
